Our coaches design a step-by-step teaching plan for each class, hoping all students attend regularly. However, we understand that various reasons might lead to absences. Therefore, we have established the following leave and make-up class regulations to minimize your time and financial losses.
1. Definition of Make-up Classes: The make-up class duration will be the same as the missed class, generally scheduled in the week following the absence. If a student misses a class, we will arrange a make-up class based on the following rules.
1.1 Regular Absence: If a student will miss a class, they must request leave 24 hours in advance. Same-day or post-class leave requests are not accepted unless:
(1) Illness: If a student is suddenly ill and unable to attend class, provide a medical certificate on the same day for a make-up class arrangement;
(2) Emergencies: If a student cannot attend class due to an emergency, we will consider arranging a make-up class.
1.2 Holiday Absence: If you have a holiday leave of 3 weeks or more, the student's enrollment will be reserved but not his/her class slot.
— The student may be reassigned to a different class time and/or coach upon return from the holiday.
1.3 Absence Due to Personal Reasons: If a student misses or is late for a class due to personal reasons (like oversleeping, forgetting the class, etc.), no make-up class will be provided.
2. Number of Make-up Classes: Only 2 make-up class opportunities are provided per term. If a student misses 3 or more classes, the loss is borne by the parents.
3. Make-up Class Timing: The school schedules make-up classes.
— Make-up classes must be arranged by Principal Summer or the school's reception, and cannot be negotiated directly with the coach. If there are too many make-up students, alternative times will be arranged.
4. No Make-up Needed: If you choose not to have a make-up class, we respect your decision, but the tuition fee is non-refundable.
5. Refunds: Under no circumstances will prepaid tuition fees be refunded.
